Terms of Service
Last updated October 15, 2026
These terms apply to the DjVu Reader app for iPhone and iPad. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). If these terms and Apple's EULA differ, Apple's EULA applies.
The app
DjVu Reader lets you open, read, search, listen to and export text from DjVu documents. It's free to download and includes a limited number of free book uploads. DjVu Reader Pro removes the limit and unlocks additional features, as described in the app.
DjVu Reader Pro
- Lifetime is a one-time purchase. It unlocks Pro permanently for your Apple ID.
- Weekly is an auto-renewable subscription. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions) or on the web. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Purchases can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple ID with Restore Purchase.
Your documents
You're responsible for the documents you open in DjVu Reader and for having the right to use them. We don't own, review or receive your documents. The bundled sample book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll with illustrations by John Tenniel, is in the public domain.
Acceptable use
- Use the app only for lawful purposes.
- Don't copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.
- Don't use the Wi‑Fi Transfer feature on networks you're not allowed to use.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise it will be free of errors or open every file. Keep your own copies of important documents.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. We'll update this page and the date at the top; continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
